Netball Umpire Development Opportunity

EDFNL is hosting a face to face Workshop for Mentors on Friday May 10th at Longwarry Netball

Courts.

 The Mentoring Workshop focuses on processes to assist beginner umpires through their development in a constructive and encouraging manner.

It looks at the skill and knowledge needed to guide and progress umpires through the early stages of their

pathway.

As a part of Netball Victoria’s Umpires In The Field initiative, this workshop contributes 5 points toward Badge

Accreditation.

It is important that Mentors are aware of the expectations of beginner umpires and that a consistent approach

is established for all trainees.
